초록

This study aimed at investigating the impact of service utilization on the Self-esteem of children from multicultural families, mediated through their multiculturalism, and then devised ways to boost their Self-esteem. The major findings are as follows: First, the multiculturalism level of the children was slightly above the mid-point. Second, various services were offered for the multi-cultural children, but only several services including educational activities were widely used. Third, out of various services the impact of culture adjustment education programs had a significant impact on their Self-esteem. Lastly, not only the multiculturalism affected their Self-esteem, but also its impact was mediated through their services utilization, namely the utilization of education programs for adjustment. Based on the research findings, policy implications were suggested.
