This study shows the result of which architect R. Meier applied synthetically his architectural philosophy such as serious
consideration for natural light, conviction of white color and the will to architectural promenade to the museum architecture.
Externally, Meier's museums conduct visitors to the entrance hall, the starting point of architectural promenade, with double
facade or attractive curved walls against overall grid system, and clarify the course of promenade through a front ramp.
Internally, the museums care for spatiality of entrance hall, make perceive interior and exterior successively through ramps or
both-sides glassed passages which connect exhibition units, and by inducing spatial depth through delicate nuance of white tone
as a result of natural light illuminated on white walls and auto-standing display showcases or display partitions, give rhythm in
exhibition space and enhance mobility in stable atmosphere.
