The purpose of this thesis is to make clear how Korean war influences on the post-war literature in 1950's with the focus on Sun-woo, Whi and Son, Chang-Sup. We must be able to make an resolution by the way to analyze the matter of distance between reality and literature.
The novels of Sun-Woo, Whi, one of the post-war new generation writers, shows zero-distance novel case. In his work, Mr. Sun-Woo testify the brutality of the war, and eloquently speak to turn around to humanism revealed fake. His humanism pretty bias on right wing, all about this come from Sun-Woo's back ground.
Son, one of the most beloved new generation writers, describes the horrors of Korean war by showing the lives into ruins. But all of Son's novels are focusing on an individual, for cutting the facing up to the reality.
Both of them show us very good case how the distance between reality and literature let the writers create their own world. Korean war, the meta-discussion turns the Korean new generation writer's eyes to the zero-distance between reality and literature, and aside reality and history.
