The purpose of this study is intended for effective recycling of waste concrete. We analyzed the stability of structural recycled aggregate concrete. In this study, Mock-up was manufactured using recycled aggregate concrete and then analyzed with respect to physical properties. Finally, the applicability of recycled aggregates as constructional aggregates was reviewed by practically putting recycled aggregates concrete into construction. The conclusions of this study are as follows.
The recycled aggregate concrete slump is observed to make some decline as the substitution ratio of the recycled aggregate increased. This is caused by the influence of mortar that exists on the aggregates surface on the recycled aggregate. Accordingly, when an attempt is made to produce the concrete by using the recycled aggregate, make sure to implement the pre-wetting on the aggregates in advance, or make less of substitution ratio of the recycled aggregates for the natural aggregates.
The recycled aggregate concrete showed the trend of reduction in general along the increase of substitution ratio of the recycled aggregates, however, as shown in the result of the main text, the design standard intensity, 24 ㎫ was satisfied in all combination after 28 days of age. However, in the case of combination that used the recycling fine aggregates, it showed the slightly lower result in intensity than the combination to use the recycling coarse aggregates that there is a need of caution in use, and in particular, the application on the area with direct weight may be made after improving the quality of the recycled fine aggregates and confirmed slightly more for stability.
