The purpose of this study is to review double-subject construction in Korean. Some problems related to double-subject construction in Korean. These are as follows. First, double-subject construction have been discussed in viewpoint not sentence constituents but case. Second, we were not able to recognize the subject as a grammatical relation category.
We newly discussed about double-subject construction. The results are as follows. First, double-subject construction is composed on multiple-level. Second, each level is similar to sentence being composed of by the subject and a predicate. Third, double-construction of NPs is not double nominatives construction but double subjects construction. That is, a grammatic position of sentence elements shall be explained in theory of constituent. Fourth, ‘subject’ is a grammatic relation category. Therefore, include constituents having various grammatical position like proposition-subject, inf-subject etc. Fifth, double-subject phenomenon in Adjectives sentence is general.
