The purpose of this study is to find out the inbound ski tourists' purchasing behavior characteristics and preferences, to obtain elements and levels, and, eventually, to present the optimal product and effective attraction strategy for the inbound ski tourists by analyzing the element's importance, flexibility, and level effectiveness. The investigation includes: first, finding inbound ski tourists' key elements in selecting ski resort; second, comparing demographic and behavior analytical factors in purchasing behavior; third, obtaining the optimal product by analyzing key elements' importance, flexibility and effectiveness by levels; and forth, comprehending key elements' competitive relationship by analyzing inbound ski tourists' preference to ski resorts. In the survey, facilities have been found to be significant factors in ski tourists' preference levels. On the contrary, quality of snow, variety of ski slopes, and employee's service have been found to be less relative. The result of this study presents that the most preferred ski resorts provide various ski slopes, hotel accommodation, entertainment facilities, easy access of about 2 hours, and the cost of under 100,000 won per person. Also, it was shown that ski resorts were grouped in competitive relation by each element such as cost, accessibility, facilities, quality of snow, variety of ski slopes, and type of companion. #스키리조트(ski resort) #외래스키관광객(inbound ski tourist) #선호도(preference) #최적상품(optimal product)
