The purpose of this study is to reveal the effects of 16-wks workers exercise program on the changes of cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength, body composition, flexibility between control/ exercise group with middle-age female workers of C-corporation. The control group was 30 subjects and the exercise group was 23 subjects. The program was performed for 16 weeks, and all subjects took a consultation about exercise, nutrition every two weeks, totally 8 times. The exercise group did exercise over 3 times a week spontaneously in health or fitness centers. The aerobic exercise was designed for jogging over 30 minutes a day at 5.5~6.5㎞/h(sometimes 9㎞/h) and the resistance exercise was planned to doing 3 sets(10-15RM for one set) a day and increased gradually. As a result of analyzing the change of health-related fitness(cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength, body composition, flexibility) factors after 16-weeks exercise program, we concluded above following.
Between pre-/post- program, the VO₂<SUB>max</SUB> of exercise group was increased statistically significant after exercise program(p<.05). The bilateral knee joint peak torque of exercise group was increased statistically significant after exercise program(p<.05). The %fat(body composition) of both groups had no difference after exercise program. At last, the flexibility of exercise group was increased statistically significant after exercise program(p<.05).
