The purpose of this study is to find out how successful The 7th Educational Program is in reforming the middle school in terms of the school facilities. Through every steps of the construction process, carefully analyzed the design documents of the selected school buildings and checked the compliance level of the design standards provided for The 7th Educational Program. After that, thorough survey and interviews with the person in charge were made for some of those schools. The result of the study shows that the standards for The Program was quite fulfilled in preliminary design stage but the level of compliance became lower and lower as the construction process went by in terms of space programming and room requirements especially in those areas like home base and spacial study classrooms that are the core ingredients for The Program. According to the result of this research, we cannot help but realize that not only the facility itself but also the operation of the institution to adopt The 7th Educational Program might not work properly as much as we expected up to this moment.
