Sports have emerged as a strong cultural dimension within the rapidly expanding sports industry. Sports especially allows a wide range of options, and consequently, sports involvement have diversified in various places. This phenomenon has brought about a change in consumer behavior. But even then not a lot is known about the essential nature of sports consumer behavior. The consumer behavior has diversified presently with emphasis on consumption. Keeping this point in view, this study assumes the sports consumer behavior that includes one to use diverse goods and services as a very important factor, and it tries to throw light on the basic mechanism of socialization of the sports consumers who are showing diverse behaviors. In particular, this study, from a comprehension of human behavior, has put emphasis on a critical mind that a point of analysis is to research interrelationship about sports consumer`s behavior trait and mechanism of their socialization, and discusses the effectiveness of sports consumer socialization. The results can be summed up as follows 1) The difficulty involved in understanding consumer behavior from conventional view of functionalism of the sociological method and classical economical approach suggests a new area of study; namely, that it is necessary to carry out the study of sports consumer behavior, from total viewpoint of comprehension of human behavior as social behavior. 2) The study of sports consumer behavior is to clarify one`s social behavior that consumer behavior give rise to as an outcome of human behavior. Therefore, three realms of influential factor suggested in this study in order to throw light on the process of sports consumer socializations, may play an important part in explaining one`s action variety. Particularly, this discussion is to make up for the point at issue that has been unexplainable to the existing study of socialization into sports. 3) Adoption of sports socialization in the consumer behavior study is significant to understanding a valuable norm of the subject of action that has brought out improvement in the sports environment and a change of social condition. 4) The careful study of the way of life and lifestyle to clarify sports consumer behavior as a social interaction to be classified by time and space will provide new theoretical data for concepts related to sports socialization research, method of analysis and preparing comprehensive model for the variable factors.
