This study is about to the Community Planning(or community building) projects that has actively promoted as bottom-up urban planning method in terms of the community recovery or urban regeneration. The purpose of this research is aimed at accommodating the experience and benefits of Saemaul Movement. Therefore, this presents a practical direction of the success strategies of Community Planning projects suitable for Korea.
As quantitative research for Community Planning, targeted Community Planning-related practitioners expert was subjected to the 4-D process of A･I to maximize the strengths. Through these, A･I process was finally selected 104 elements of the successful strategy for Community Planning project. And then, the Factor Analysis was performed with respect to the survey (importance of the business success) results for these elements as parameters.
As a strategic factor in the success of Community Planning project by Factor Analysis, there are nine factors each extraction. it is as follows; ①Advancement of public participation ②Integration of education and business ③Professionalization of administrative support ④Ensuring an independent regional power ⑤Base expansion of citizen participation ⑥Strengthening of business execution ⑦Rationalization of performance management ⑧Ensure continuity of business ⑨Linking partnerships
The result of such Factors Analysis presents that in promoting Community Planning project when, in consideration of the relative proportions of each factor means that it is necessary to approach strategically, and aimed at promoting each factor, substructure is to classify the factors detailed in the reference explanatory power is a high factor load because it shows the practice strategy, was presented the Practical Strategy Adapted for Korean-Model.
