This study was conducted to analysis the relationship and difference of both the type of participation motivation and sport commitment and school life satisfaction between Korea and Japan high school students. Basedon data collected, frequency, independent samples t-test, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The following are the result of this study. First, Japan high school students had significantly higher level of participation motivation and school life satisfaction than Korea high school students. But on the sport commitment, Korea high school students indicated a significant difference than Japan high school students. Second, there were positive relationship between participation motivation and sport commitment. At this phase, the results showed that participation motivation has a significant influence on sport commitment. Finally, there were a meaningful relationship between participation motivation and satisfaction with school. At this phase, the results showed that participation motivation has a significant influence on school life satisfaction
