초록
화질이란 선명도, 계조, 밝기, 색조로 구성된 영상의 질로 렌즈, 이미지센서, 이미지프로세서에 따라 달라진다. 렌즈는 피사체에서 반사된 빛의 양을 조절하고 굴절시켜 촬상면에 상을 맺히게 하는 역할을 한다. 이후 촬상면의 포토다이오드(photodiode)에 의해 빛을 전기신호로 만들고 이미지 프로세서에서 화질 보정 및 표본화, 양자화, 부호화 과정을 거쳐 메모리에 저장되게 된다. 렌즈는 영상 이미지화의 첫 과정으로 시각적으로 화각, 밝기 그리고 조리개 숫자, 렌즈 마운트에 따라 구분되며 광학적으로 빛을 받아들이는 능력에 따라 구분된다.
본 논문은 렌즈의 광학적 성능인 해상도, 수차, 비네팅, 플레어를 확인하여 영상 이미지화의 첫 단계인 렌즈의 화질 평가 요소를 제시하고 개선 방향을 제언하겠다.
Image quality consists of the degree of definition, gradation, brightness, and tone that varies depending on lens, image device, and image processor. Lens is responsible for forming a figure on an image by adjusting and bending the amount of light reflected from the subject. After, it creates light in to an electric signal by the exposure device on image surface and stores the light in memory through image correction and sampling, quantization, and encoding processes on the image processor. Lens is the first process of imagification that is classified visually according to the angle of view, brightness, aperture number, less mount, and the ability to optically accept light. This paper examined resolution, aberration, vignetting, and flare, the optical performances of lens, proposed the elements of the image quality assessment of lens which is the first stage of imagificaiton, and suggested improvement ways.
