The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the English education system of Denmark to draw effective English education policy implications for Korea. For this study, literature reviews were adopted as a research methods. The characteristics of the English education system of Denmark are as follows: first, clear motivation for Danish people to achieve English; second, exposure to English environment frequently and naturally by media; third, effective training system for competent English teachers; forth, evaluation system where knowledge and proficiency measurement is the target. The implications of this study are as follows: motivation of learning English that can be learned through various ways of experience, establishing a step-by-step application method for English immersion education appropriate to the situation of educational field in Korea, changes in the way to train English teachers, and development of communication-oriented evaluation system. #English education #English communication #English education system #Denmark
