In recent years, the shortage of houses due to the explosive increase in 1~2 person households has occurred and the demand on the improvements of residential has also increased to accommodate the diversification of the housing-vulnerable group. Accordingly, the construction of two modular apartments were completed. But it is primarily needed to investigate the development of specialized modular parts that can be used in pre-fabricated houses. In the meantime, The International Olympic Committee recommended to build demountable venues and temporary facilities according to the Olympic Agenda 2020. Thus, some facilities were built as demountable among the related facilities. Although it had an advantage that resolved the facility operation cost problem of local government after the Olympic closing, it had to solve the problem of re-use of pre-fabricated material stocks such as a large amount of demolished panels by construction companies. To solve this problem, this study was conducted to raise the re-use rate of interior and exterior panels by utilizing building information modeling as the first step to develop a specialized interior and exterior material system of modular demonstration apartment that is constructed in Dujeong-dong in Cheonan by demounting the interior and exterior pre-fabricated materials in the Driver Accommodation Building.
