By examining the current status of community facilities in residential areas, planning community facilities suitable for leisure and cultural activities can lead to sound leisure activities and improve the quality of life. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of community facilities around residential areas and to conduct a basic survey for guidance on planning community facilities as leisure and cultural facilities. Community facilities in residential areas were divided into community facilities in multi-family housing, community facilities based on local areas, and community facilities in urban regeneration sites to identify the current status and compare leisure and cultural spaces. In addition, the needs of residents' community facilities were investigated and the community facilities needed by consumers were presented. The results of this study are: 1. it is necessary to provide space for community economic activities in multi-family housing or to plan facilities that require facilities or equipment such as studios. 2. there is a need to strengthen the amenities section in local-based community facilities. 3. community facilities have a high preference for sports facilities and library facilities, and the demand for personal work spaces is also increasing. 4. unmanned delivery, tool rental, and safe return services are preferred, so it is necessary to refer to the community facility plan.
