Currently various kinds of geosynthetics are being used in the construction site. Especially the geogrid is mostly used as a reinforcement for reinforced strucrure and soft ground. Geogrid is the materials in the polyethylene(HDPE), polyester(PET), polypropylen(PP), and so on, however they have different mechanical properties from each other. The low carbon green growth is being present in the global paradigm for national development. Geogrid made of recycled polyester(PET) and polypropylen(PP) is the eco-friendly product. In this study, the observation of geogrid damage was made during the soil compaction in the field. Further details are described in this paper.
