This paper presents a system for internetworking between SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) which is a standard protocol in Internet and CMIP(Common Management Information Protocol) which is a management protocol in OSI network. Finally, we present a converter synthesis method which provides a Petri net modeled converter given two Petri net based on protocol specifications. In this paper, it is shown that management protocols based on defining the managed object can be represented and evaluated by Petri Nets. The rest of the paper is organized as follows. In section 2, we presents the method of MIB construction for internetworking between different networks. Some notations of Petri Nets are given in section 3. In section 4, modelling and verification of the access to the advanced MO class is explained. Conclusions remarks and future research area are given in section 5.
