    It is proposed that embroidery patterns are generated by using sewing machine. The equipment with sewing machine are mainly composed of a mathematical model which may be constructed by switching and other circuits. The model is called the commutative linear repre­sentation systems. Many methods of image generation being mainly intended for the realism of images, this method is a very different graphic generation from them. Embroidery pattern generation is a trial for a sort of graphic art by using sewing machine with computer, Being exe­cuted in linear operations, this generation method may be very suitable for computer algorithm or electric circuits. The effectiveness of this method is illustrated with several examples.
