In Korea, the rate of renewable energy supply which was 1.4% of primary energy at the end of 2000, is remarkably lower than those in developed countries. In 2000, Daegu City got 18,560 TOE - that was only 0.39%; compared with 1.42% in the national average. If Daegu City expands the supply and use of renewable energy with Solar City, it could make a use of chance to improve its environment and a relationship with international advanced cities; furthermore Daegu City could be an international model city. In this study, I would like to draw up a plan for utilization of renewable energy through a research on the use and potential amount of renewable energy. According to the specific plan for utilization of renewable energy, the effectiveness and continuity of renewable energy plan will be lasted and the supply of it will be advanced in Daegu City.
