King Josiah's reformation was written in the Book of 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles. We know the start of the reformation was kindled by finding of a book in the treasury of the temple in Jerusalem during the repairing of the temple under Priest Hilkia.
There has been vehement discussions about the book which was found at the time. An Old Testament scholar de Wette insisted that the book was some core parts of the Deuteronomy. Among the discussion is included the author problem of the book Deuteronomy. Scholars have proposed possible authors of the book with some supporting data according to their opinions.
I, the writer of this small article propose Prophet Jeremiah is related with the revolution and responsible for the authorship of some part of the book, Deuteronomy. This article introduces the process of this proposal. But, the limit of this article is that it cannot go beyond an assumption because there is no evident proof for the insistence. I hope people who are interested in the study of the Bible may be helped by this article to understand the frame and meaning of the Bible.
