On August 10, 2009, Korean government decided the two sites, Shinseo district of Daegu and Osong district of Chungcheongbuk-do as High-Tech Medical Cluster (below as HtMC). These two HtMCs will contribute to boost this country’s medical industry competitiveness by converging world-class high-tech infrastructure. There are 3 core infrastructure facilities, 2 research support facilities and some amenity buildings, respectively. The research support facilities are a laboratory animal center and a clinical trial materials manufacturing center.
