    This paper presents a fast ToA algorithm using nonequal reply time for application in an ultra wide band system. The ToA estimation and the TDoA estimation are typical techniques based on propagation time. ToA is known that it is more accurate than TDoA but the TDoA algorithm has faster process ability than the ToA algorithm process time. Moreover, the calculating time increases with the increase of reference nodes. In this paper, we propose the fast ToA algorithm to reduce the calculating time. We compare the proposed ToA estimation with conventional ToA and conventional TDoA, and show a simulation result the reduced calculating time of proposed ToA.
