This paper deals with the analytical model of sound transmission loss for the multi-layered fire-resistive panel. In order to improve sound transmission performance, the effect of sound bridge is examined, analytically and experimentally. From the comparison of the measurements with the predictions, it is evident that sound bridge plays an important role on sound transmission for the multi-layered fire-resistive panel.
