This study aims to explore relation-oriented Christian family education by the common perspectives between Comenius and object relations theorists. For the purpose of this study, Comenius" understanding of the mother and child must dialogue with the viewpoints of object relations theorists. The process of this study will contribute to the reevaluation of Comenius" understanding of the mother and child and its influence on present Christian family education. The common perspectives of Comenius and object relations theorists could be adopted as a valuable relation model for reconstructing new Christian family education. The model of a relationoriented Christian family education will help the Christian family live as mature Christians in the context of contemporary pluralism.
