The purpose of the present study was to investigate the association between religiosity and volunteering of Korean adolescents. For analysis, this study used the third wave dataset of the seventh grade student cohort (2,255 third grade students in middle school) of the KCYPS, collected in 2012. The analysis could not find much association between religiosity and volunteering among Korean adolescents. Religiosity did not make a difference in participation in and hours spent on volunteering. Even Protestant adolescents were not different from Buddhist, Catholic, and non-religious adolescents in participation in and hours spent on volunteering. The majority of adolescents of all religions volunteered because volunteering activity is recorded in the report card.
