The purpose of this study is to identify Christian parents’ practices and values regarding parenting, concerning current educational and cultural conditions. 252 Christian parents participated in the study and six open-ended questions were asked in order to learn of their deep and honest opinions, which were assessed using frequency analysis, Fisher"s exact test, and the Chi-square test. Participating Christian parents chose faith most frequently among their answers to questions about parental preparation, the goal for the child, parenting principles, and help for parenting. The variable that made the greatest difference in most questions was the parents’ faith level. In addition, good character for parents and child was stressed, and parents’ primary language style was loving/caring words. The types of support wanted most by parents to make Christian parenting possible came through the church.
