This paper aims to present BIM(Building Information Modeling)-enabled evaluation of alternatives in early phase of design for building remodeling projects based on an actual apartment case in Yeongwol, South Korea. Massive supply of grand scale housing project has been conducted due to the increase of urban population followed by the growth of economy in Korea since 1970. Consequently, building remodeling became one of the practicable resolutions for renovating such old housings in these days.
