The integration of faith and learning is not new to Christian teachers and curriculum writers anymore. They recognize its importance but theproblem is that many of them do not know the way to implement it. This study found the reason for this difficulty to be found in the influence of traditional education. With their learning or teaching experiences in the conventional classroom, which mainly focuses on content mastery, Christian educators naturally have tried to integrate biblical faith with fragmented factual knowledge and skills. This often keeps them from finding why they need to teach while making them concentrate on what to teach. The purpose of the study was to present practical help to Christian teachers in this regard and to develop a unit design template for integrating a biblical worldview with their teaching. For the Integration of Faith and Learning Template, Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe’s instructional design for understanding, which is often referred to as “backward design,” was examined and adjusted to accept the suggestions of Harro Van Brummelen’s nine steps in planning classroom units.
