The purpose of the present study was to investigate differences in life values among Korean adolescents with different religions. This study analyzed the fifth wave dataset of the seventh grade student cohort (2,076 second grade students in high school) of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS), collected in 2014. Statistically significant differences among adolescents with different religions were found in three values. Among them, the difference in the altruistic value (helping others) was most significant. Christians, including both Protestants and Catholics, thought it to be important more than non-religious adolescents did. Besides, Christians put more values on the family. However, Christians were not different from non-religious adolescents or Buddhists in their thinking toward materialistic values.
