The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine the perspectives of seminarians on woman leadership in the church. For this study, five seminarians of a seminary in Seoul, Korea, were interviewed. The participants consisted of two male and three female seminarians from different degree programs and countries. It analysed the position of seminarians on women"s ordination and leadership in the church, the impact of seminary life on their perspectives, and their views on empowerment of women. The study found that even though the majority of the participants claimed to support woman leadership in the church, their claim contradicted their views when the issue was applied at a personal level. For instance, the male participants did not agree that their wives could be their pastors. The participants, nevertheless, agreed that the seminary had enhanced their appreciation of woman leadership. Every participant identified women"s identity to be the key factor to women"s empowerment.
