Moving capital city is a great construction work and has a function of influencing destiny of a nation. The way of moving capital city is classified as followings: The condition that the function of a capital city is halted when urban function works not any more. Moving capital city might have various reasons and types. The cause of moving capital city might be found in such geological condition as cosmic and fungshei theory according to the expansion or decline of national strength, or the fact of checking and contention of hegemony by the domestic and foreign forces. In our historical case regarding moving capital city, Kokuryeo and Baekje, excluding Silla Kingdom, had been moved toward the South orientation. It appeared that Kokuryeo and Baekje Kingdom, moving her capital city to the South, went to ruin, while Silla Kingdom, using multi-capital city strategy, resulted in the unification of these three kingdoms. On the other hand, the historic comparison of capital city movement between Japan and Korea indicated that Japan has been developed and united through the process of moving capital city toward the North direction.
