The purpose of the paper is to analyze the direction of the Korean tariff policy in low tariff rate system. Moreover, this paper examines the problems and ways of the improving the current low tariff rate system by analyzing uniform tariff system and tariff policy of the korea.
For the above mentioned purpose, this study is composed of : (1) Analysis on the current tariff rate and characteristics, (2) Korean tariff policy in the 1980's and 1990's (3) Tariff policy and its changes of the U.S and Japan, (4) Analysis problems of the current tariff and its rate of the Korea.
