    (Purpose) Malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH), now termed high-grade undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma, is an aggressive soft tissue sarcoma with a poor prognosis. Despite healthcare improvement, conventional therapy has been limited due to the large resistance of MFH. (Methods) To overcome this problems, we studied a new way using adipose tissue derived mesenchymal stem cells (AD-MSC) modified to secrete tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL), a protein that induces apoptosis in cancer cells but not normal cells. (Results) First of all, we studied tumor specific cytotoxicity of TRAIL, the result showed that TRAIL caused cell death in a dose dependent manner of rhTRAIL protein, 60% of cell death was induced in MFH at low concentration of 10ng/ml, but not in MSC even at high concentration. ... 전체 초록 보기
