In this paper, a cooking support system using gesture recognition is proposed, which encourages users to understand how to cook and reduces a time to cook. This system focuses on efficiency of the work and the operability of the system. This system is comprised of only smart glasses. Users can confirm a procedure while cooking by displaying recipes on smart glasses using augmented reality (AR). Users can change page without touching display or pushing button by using gesture recognition. From evaluation, it is seen that the proposed system is useful for the cooking by supporting users understanding how to cook and efficiently work. Therefore, the system is expected for person who usually do not cook to increase opportunities of cooking by simplifying users understanding how to cook. Through the use of the system, the system can contribute to their healthy lives. For the contribution, the system should be improved in processing time, sensitivity and usability.
