    This paper reviewed previous studies of Appositional Constructions in the Korean language. This study has three themes: First, general characteristics of the Appositional Constructions and aspect accommodated in Korean. Second, commas and parenthetical phrase usage in Korean Appositional Constructions. third, critical understanding for syntactic construction of Appositional Constructions. The results are as follows. First, Apposition in Korean share the characteristics of the Appositional Constructions as a rule. Second, the appositive maker is a linguistic criteria of reference equivalence. Third, NPs (appositives) in Appositional Constructions are separated not frorm the complex noun phrase, and Appositional Constructions in Korean are the result of integration of the two propositions.
