    The hemodynamic characteristics at the radial artery in the subtypes of obesity according to the regional fat distribution is unclear. The purpose ot this study is to investigate the hemodynamic responses before and after the single-stage sub-maximal treadmill walking test (SSTWT) in uncomplicated pre-menopausal gynoid (BMI ≥ 25 kg/㎡, WHR < 0.85) and android obese women (BMI ≥ 25 kg/㎡, WHR ≥ 0.90). The participants were recruited with age-matched groups of 15 gynoid obese women and 16 android obese women including a control group of 15 normal weighted women (18.5 ≤ BMI < 23.0 kg/㎡). The pulse power index (PPI) of the control and gynoid obesity group have a tendency to increase after SSTWT (p < 0.10), whereas the android obesity shows no significant change after SSTWT. The amplitude of main peak (H1) of the mean pulse wave also increases significantly in the control group (p <0.05) and gynoid obesity group (p > 0.05), but show a tendency to dreasese in android obesity group. The results indicate that parameters of radial pulse wave may reflects the vascular conditions due to the regional fat distribution in the obesity
