    This study aimed to analyze the aspects of digital literacy practices on Elementary Social Studies(history domain), middle school History textbooks, and their Teacher’s Guides to examine how the development of digital media affects history learning. For analysis, Elementary Social Studies textbook and Teacher’s Guide and seven kinds of authorized middle school History textbooks and their Teacher’s Guides were chosen and all the contents related to digital literacy practices were examined at the point of amount, type, level, and the aspects of scaffolding. The results showed that types of digital literacy practices that appeared mainly in the textbooks and teacher’s guide were visiting history-related web sites, collecting diverse data needed for history learning, and producing the results of history learning with various types of digital contents such as making blogs, presentation, UCC production. Based on the results, this study emphasized that the historical literacy practices need to be expanded by introducing more diverse types of digital literacy activities in the history class, and mentioned the necessity of follow-up research related to this research topic.
