This study suggests a practical English on the curriculum of university English. To this end, this research examined the operational results of the program over 2 years and 6 months, and surveyed and analyzed students’ satisfaction as well as their demands from the curriculum. The results show that the simulated TOEIC scores of students who took KUGEP for a year improved by more than 61 points. The survey of KUGEP1 students revealed the following: Students had a high self-efficacy and satisfaction with KUGEP subjects, and demand for various optional English subjects and extra-curricular programs. From the results of this research, I will make a number of suggestions for introducing practical English curriculums: 1) More efficient and practical English programs should be developed to help students with high self-efficiency and learning to continue their English studies; 2) schools and faculties should make efforts to improve student satisfaction with university English curriculum; 3) Optional English subjects and extra-curricular programs should be developed to further improve English communication skills.
