The importance of mobility applications(apps) in the travel experience has grown in that the transportation environment changes in real-time. Therefore, this study focused on tourists’ mobility and attempted to understand the effect of travel experience through mobility apps on travel satisfaction. In particular, the untact characteristic of the apps was reflected by applying institution-based trust as an antecedent. For the empirical analysis of this study, an online survey was conducted on Korean tourists who had used a travel mobility app in the Korean destinations for the past year, and the Partial Least Square (PLS) was applied. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the institution-based trust of the mobility apps positively affects overall travel satisfaction through the satisfaction of mobility app and the perceived value of destination experience. Based on the results, academic and practical implications were presented.
