In the field of nail beauty, research on color recognition is insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to confirm color recognition according to the area and location of colors colored in nail coloring. This study conducted an online survey of a total of 357 adult men and women in their 10s and 60s. 50 nail plays were produced for the study of color recognition of nail coloring. YR and PB were added to the basic 5 colors according to the KS Korean standard color. It was manufactured based on two colors, and was manufactured by changing the area ratio and the position of the coloration. As a result of the study, five trends were identified. First, the larger the color area, the higher the recognition rate as the main color. Second, in the case of the same area, the color on the left was recognized as the main color. Third, when arranged up and down, the color of the color arranged toward the cuticle was recognized as the main color. Fourth, when applying French coloring, the color located above the smile line was recognized as the main color. Fifth, when coloring with the center and background, the center color was recognized as the main color. This study has the meaning of providing basic data on nail design color application based on the results of color recognition when applying nail color. However, it is revealed that the applied color may not match the KS Korean standard color by producing a survey image by coloring it with gel nail color, and there is a limitation in that the ratio application.
