This paper considered the following several points in relation to the Incheonanmok published by MuhakJacho(無學自超) at Hoeamsa Temple in Joseon in 1395. First, this edition has the largest amount (49,000 characters) among the various existing editions of this literature, and there are also 20 more contents(10,211 characters) that are not included in other editions. Therefore it is evaluated as a version showing the early form of this literature. Second, this edition was published by Ganggeumgang(姜金剛) in Won period in 1357, followed by Hoeamsa Temple in 1395, Songgwangsa Temple in 1529, and Seodaesa Temple in 1530. Third, unlike Jingdechuandenglu(景德傳燈錄), Incheonanmok, which was passed down to Korea, carries the Chan lineage(法脈) that ‘four kinds came out under Namak(南嶽) and one kind came out under Cheongwon(靑原)’. This point of view is accepted in the writings of Hujeong(休靜), Choenul(最訥), Yuhyeong(有炯) during the Joseon Dynasty. Fourth, the contents of this literature are also cited in the writings of Hujeong, Jian(志安), Baekpa(白坡). Therefore, it can be seen that the Rentianyanmu, which was passed down to Korea, has a great influence on Joseon Buddhism in terms of Chan ideology as well as Chan lineage.
