This study examines Korean and Chinese adnominal clause markers and compares and analyzes their grammatical features, functions, usage, and characteristics. An adnominal clause is a cross-linguistic structure that exists in many languages and generally refers to a clause that modifies a noun. Although Korean and Chinese have different basic word orders, adnominal clauses in both languages are placed before the nouns they modify. In addition, both Korean and Chinese have markers that indicate adnominal clauses. In the case of Korean, ‘-(eu)n’, ‘neun’, ‘-(eu)l’, and ‘-deon’ are used as adnominal clause markers, while in the case of Chinese, ‘de’ is used as an adnominal clause marker. As a result of the analysis, it can be said that Korean and Chinese adnominal clause markers have similar grammatical functions, but there are some differences in usage and grammatical features.
