This research is to study on The Impact of the Automatic Ball-Strike System on TV relay broadcasting. Participants in the study are interviews of expert with professional baseball commentators, announcers, recorders, and producers who participate in the production directly in the field, and korea baseball organization officials press releases related to the Automatic Ball-Strike System will explore the impact of the professional baseball Automatic Ball-Strike System on TV relay broadcasting. From the opening of the KBO professional baseball league on March 23, 2024, to April 16, 2024, when 100 of the total 720 games in the league were completed, it was conducted for about three weeks, and on-site interviews for more than 30 minutes were conducted. Interviews were conducted through semi-structured interviews and unstructured interviews on the impact of the Automatic Ball-Strike System on professional baseball TV relay broadcasting. The results of the in-depth interview were supported by evidence from previous research and SBS Sports professional baseball TV relay broadcast data that only authorized personnel can access. The results of this study confirmed that the Automatic Ball-Strike System increased TV relay broadcast viewing, shortened time, and affected element changes. This will serve as basic data for the promotion and development of domestic professional baseball through professional baseball TV relay broadcasting.
