This paper takes ‘liaobude’ and ‘liaobuqi’ as the research object, starts with the ontology research of vocabulary, first analyzes lexicalization process of ‘liaobude’ and ‘liaobuqi’, and then makes a comparative analysis of ‘liaobude’ and ‘liaobuqi’ at the three levels of grammar, semantic and pragmatic, finally summarizes the subtle differences between ‘liaobude’ and ‘liaobuqi’. Grammarally, the biggest difference between ‘liaobude’ and ‘liaobuqi’ is that the former can serve as complement grammarally and express the meaning ‘deeper degree’ semantically, and the latter can serve as adverbial grammarally and express the meaning of ‘at the most’ semantically.
