초록·키워드
This study investigated the post-activation performance enhancement (PAPE) effects of various Drop Jump (DJ) activation strategies on Countermovement Jump (CMJ) performance. A total of 27 healthy male participants in their 20s were randomly assigned to three groups: DJ (unloaded), AEL (20% body weight added), and AEL+DJ (one set of AEL followed by a DJ set). CMJ performance was measured at recovery times of 15 seconds, 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 8 minutes, 12 minutes, and 16 minutes. The AEL group showed significant improvements across all performance metrics during the 2-4 minute recovery period, while the AEL+DJ group exhibited significant effects only in jump height and concentric impulse at 2 minutes. The DJ group showed no significant enhancements. In conclusion, the AEL strategy is an effective method for rapidly enhancing explosive performance and is recommended for use prior to training or competition. A recovery period of 2-4 minutes following AEL activation is optimal for maximizing performance enhancement.
