초록·키워드
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of climber’ perceived enjoyment of perceived risk in rock climbing on exercise continuation. To achieve the purpose of this study, a research model and hypotheses were established, and survey method and statistical analysis were conducted to verify the hypotheses. The study sampled 300 adult men and women aged 20 years or older, with data from 288 valid responses used for the final analysis. Multiple regression analysis was conducted using the statistical package program, SPSS 28.0 for Windows.
First, it was found that climbers' perceived enjoyment during rock climbing had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on the sub-variable of exercise continuation, "tendency" in the aspects of
"achievement" (β=.693) and "social interaction" (β=.243) (p<.001). Second, climbers' perceived enjoyment during rock climbing had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on the sub-variable of exercise continuation, "reinforcement" in the aspects of "health" (β=.713), "social interaction" (β=.270), and "interest" (β=.211) (p<.05, p<.01, p<.001). Third, climbers' perceived enjoyment during rock climbing had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on the sub-variable of exercise continuation, "feasibility," in the aspects of "social interaction" (β=.296) and "achievement" (β=.187) (p<.05, p<.001). In conclusion, the study partially confirmed the hypotheses, demonstrating that climbers' perceived enjoyment positively influences their continuation of exercise.
