    This study systematically reviewed the applicability and potential applications of ChatGPT and other generative AI technologies in the sports industry. Using the PRISMA methodology, 24 sources were selected and analyzed. The findings indicate that ChatGPT can play a pivotal role in personalized content creation for sports journalism, real-time data prediction and analysis in game analytics, enhancing real-time interactions with fans, and driving innovation in marketing and services. The study also underscores the importance of ethical responsibility and data privacy when deploying ChatGPT. These insights suggest that integrating ChatGPT technology may significantly contribute to the sports industry’s innovative advancement.
