This paper proposes an enhanced no-bolt modeling approach as an alternative to conventional finite element method (FEM) modeling using solid elements. The proposed model retains the accuracy of solid bolt models while significantly reducing computational cost. To validate this approach, we fastened two aluminum plates using eight bolts and measured the contact pressure between the plates using force sensors. Finite element models - including a solid bolt model, a beam model, and a no-bolt model - were developed in ANSYS and compared with experimental results to reaffirm the accuracy of the solid bolt model. Building upon this, an improved FEM analysis process and boundary conditions were applied to the conventional no-bolt model, resulting in an efficient bolted joint model that achieves fast computation with minimal error compared to the solid model. The results demonstrate the potential applicability of the proposed approach to large-scale and defense-related structures requiring multiple bolted joints. This method is expected to offer high efficiency and practical value in future analyses.
