As industry and economy develop, safety insensitivity of manufacturing workers continues to occur due to safety insensitivity caused by continuous exposure to disaster risks. This study conducted correlation analysis, descriptive statistics, variance analysis, and mediation effect regression analysis to prevent safety accidents of manufacturing workers. To this end, the relationship between major disaster response capacity (independent variable), safety education (mediator variable), and safety culture (dependent variable) was analyzed. Major disaster response capacity and safety education had a significant effect on safety culture, and safety education showed a mediating effect on major disaster response capacity and safety culture. In particular, the satisfaction level of safety education was found to be high. This suggests that safety education should not be simply theoretical education, but should be based on customized field practice and case-centered education content to increase satisfaction. It is necessary to foster educational talents and provide customized safety education that fits the reality of the company. In addition, education that can be practiced through participation is necessary to continuously create an atmosphere in which workers participate in safety. In addition, an atmosphere in which workers can participate in safety should be continuously created through field education based on what they know about safety. To this end, follow-up research is needed on attitudes and methods of participating in future safety activities and whether safety regulations in workplaces are playing a practical role in the field.
