The aim of this study is to review the papers about User Experience (UX) of Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) and to propose a framework which is more analytical to observe the full range of UX factors by examining tendency of the various experiences along with the context of using PMDs. The property of UX factors constantly change due to the user's state and the context of use. Especially, PMD has contextual characteristics that it is motorized by electricity, and the user is exposed to the outside. Therefore, the study of UX with PMD requires a variety of approaches because each device requires some training and its level of skills in such conditions unlike other common mobile devices. As the beginning of the study, the 1226 researches about PMD were collected and the 19 UX related researches were extracted. The final 19 researches were summarized into the following criteria of product types, evaluation methodologies, measurements, user’s multiple characteristics that researcher wants to see.
